Aciclostad is a medicine used to treat Viral infections (antivirals) such as Herpes infections in the lip area (recurrent herpes labialis).

Aciclostad is used for:
-treatment of pain and itching of recurring Herpes labialis in lip area.

| Instructions for use |
You should apply the cream 5 times a day with an interval of 4 hours during the day on the affected skin areas.
In order to achieve the maximum effect Aciclostad should be used at the first sign of the Herpes disease (burning, itching, feeling of tension and redness).
The duration of treatment is generally 5 days.
Apply Aciclostad using a cotton swab. If you apply it by hand , you should cleanse them before and after to avoid bacterial infection.

DO NOT use Aciclostad cream:
-If you are allergic to acyclovir, valaciclovir, propylene glycol or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
-on mucous membranes (e.g in the oral cavity, eye or vagina).
Precaution:
Consult your doctor or pharmacist before giving/using this product if:
- you have a serious problem with the body’s immune system (e.g AIDS or after bone marrow transplants).
-you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

The expiry date refers to on the last day of the specified month.
Do not store above + 25ºC.
After opening this product, it can be used within 12 months.
