Fastum gel is a soft gel that helps reduce inflammation and relieve pain. It should be used by adults and children over 12 years of age.  
Product description
Fastum Gel contains as active ingredient Ketoprofen which is a non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug used to relieve the pain of different origins. It is administered locally for back pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, wrist’s muscles pain etc. 
Indications
It is indicated to relieve the pain:
  • Of soft tissue injuries 
  • Of acute strains and sprains.
Instructions for use
Always read the leaflet or consult with your doctor or pharmacist before use. 
The recommended dose is a length of gel 5-10 cm, applied to the skin of the affected area 2-3 times daily.  
Warning
DO NOT use in children under 12 years of age. 
DO NOT use Fastum Gel for more than 10 days in a row. 
DO NOT use more than 25g of Fastum Gel per day. 
DO NOT expose the skin that has been treated with Fastum Gel to direct (even hazy) sunlight or sunbeds   during treatment  for the following 2 weeks. 
DO NOT use if you are pregnant or breast- feeding. It may affect your baby.
 
 Precautions:
Talk to your doctor before using Fastum Gel: 
  • If you have heart, kidney, liver, stomach or bowel problems, or a tendency to bleed easily.  
  • The duration of treatment should be kept as short as possible as the risk of skin reactions increases over time. 
  • If you are allergic to the active substance ketoprofen or to any of the other ingredients. 
  • If you have had any previously photosensitivity reactions. 
  • If you are hypersensitive (allergic) to UV blockers (sun creams) or perfumes. 
  • If you are allergic to aspirin, or other NSAIDs. 
  • If you are allergic to fenofibrate (a medicine used to lower blood cholesterol). 
  • If you have had (asthma), runny nose (rhinitis) or an itchy rash (hives) after taking aspirin or other NSAIDs. 
  • If the area to be treated is near the eyes. 
For external use. 
Other information
Keep out of reach of children. 
Do not use this product after the expiry date which is stated on the carton.  
Ingredients
Active ingredient: Ketoprofen 2.5% 
Other ingredients: Carbomer, Ethanol, Neroli essence, Lavender essence, Trolamine and Purified Water.
