Nurofen 400 mg is used in children over 12 years old, and adults. It is used as a pain reliever and also for reducing fever.

Product description	Nurofen 400 mg contains ibuprofen, an anti-inflammatory drug that relieves pain, toothache, and menstrual pain. Its main role is to reduce inflammation and fever. Nurofen 400 mg is indicated for use in adolescents over 12 years old and 40 kgs and in adults.
Indications	It is indicated in: Relieving mild to moderate pain like: toothache, headache, menstrual pain. Reducing fever related to cold or flu.
Instructions for use	Always read the leaflet of the medicine or consult with your doctor or pharmacist before use. Dosage Children and adolescents weighing over 40 kg (over 12 years old): It is recommended to take one capsule with a glass of water and then 1 capsule every 6 hours. Do not take more than 3 capsules in 24 hours.
Warning	DO NOT take Nurofen 400 mg if: You are allergic to Ibuprofen or to any other components of the medicine. You have had asthma, rash, runny nose, swelling of face after taking ibuprofen, aspirin or other painkillers. You have had bleeding or gastrointestinal perforation after taking NSAIDS. You have liver or kidney failure. You suffer from conditions related to blood formation. You have tendency for bleeding or conditions related to blood coagulation. You suffer from severe heart problems. You are in the last trimester of pregnancy. DO NOT give Nurofen to your child if he/she is under 12 years old or weighing less 40 kgs. Precautions: Consult with your doctor or pharmacist if: You are taking other drugs. You are in the first 6 months of pregnancy or breastfeeding. Symptoms after taking this drug persists or worsens.
Other information	Keep the medicine out of sight and reach of children. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
Ingredients	Each capsule contains 400mg of the active substance ibuprofen. The other ingredients are: Maltodextrin, Modified maize starch and Tartrazine E102, Sodium saccharin (E954) Sodium cyclamate (E952) Sodium citrate.
