Lioton gel is a gel that helps reduce inflammation and relieve pain caused by varicose veins. Reduces swelling and has an effect against blood clots. The gel is used only by adults.

Lioton gel contains heparin which belongs to the group of drugs used to treat varicose veins. Lioton acts by reducing swelling, inflammation and has an anticoagulant effect (against blood clots). The gel is used for the local treatment of inflammation of superficial veins and hematomas (bruises).

Lioton may be used alone or in combination with systemic therapies.

| Instructions for use |
Always read the leaflet or consult with your doctor or pharmacist before use.
Apply to the affected area 1-3 times a day and massage gently.
It is recommended a 3-10 centimetres long strip of the gel.

| Warning |
DO NOT use if you are allergic of heparin or other ingredients of the gel.
DO NOT use in cases of bleeding, open wounds or mucosae, nor on infection sites in case of suppurative processes.
Lioton Gel contains the excipients methyl and propyl p-hydroxybenzoate and must not be used in patients with paraben allergies.
