DEXIREN 25 MG - 20 FILM COATED TABLETS

 
 
Dexiren with coated tablets is a medicine for pain relief. It relieves pain of muscles and joints, menstrual pain and toothaches.
 
Product description
Dexiren contains Dexketoprofen a non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug used for treating pains of different kinds. It treats musculoskeletal system pains, menstrual pain and toothache. It is recommended to be used in adults over 18 years old.
Indications
It is indicated for treatment of:
  • Muscle and Joints pain
  • Menstrual pain
  • Toothache
Instructions for use
Always read the leaflet or consult with your doctor or pharmacist before use.
The recommended dose is 1 tablet (25 mg) in every 4-6 hours in a way not to exceed 3 tablets (75 mg) a day. If you are elderly, your starting dose should not exceed a total of 2 tablets (50 mg) daily. If Dexiren is well tolerated, the starting dose may then be increased to the general recommended dose (75 mg) in elderly patients.
If you have kidney or liver problems your starting dose should not exceed 2 tablets (50 mg) daily.
 
Warning
DO NOT use Dexiren:
  • If you are allergic to Dexketoprofen trometamol or any of the ingredients contained in Dexiren.
  • If you have allergy to acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
  • If you have asthma or experienced asthma , acute allergic rhinitis, swelling in the face or throat due to allergy or wheezing after using acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
  • If you have or previously had peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal or ongoing digestive problems.
  • If you have inflammatory bowel disease (Chrohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis)
  • If you have serious heart failure, moderate or severe renal or liver problems.
  • If you have bleeding or coagulation disorders.
  • If you are in the third trimester or you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Precautions:
Take care before using Dexiren if you notice any of the following:
  • If you have allergy or previously have had allergic problems.
  • If you have heart problems (hypertension and or heart failure).
  • If you use diuretics or have problems of fluid deficiency or reduced blood volume due to excessive loss of fluid.
  • If you have heart problems.
  • If you are elderly.
  • If you are a woman with reproductive problems (Dexiren may have a negative effect on reproduction).
  • If you are on first or second trimester of your pregnancy. 
  • If you have blood or blood cells production disorders.
  • if you have systemic erythematosus (a disease presenting with generalized skin peeling) or mixed connective tissue disease.
  • If you previously had long-term inflammatory bowel disease, or another gastrointestinal disease
  • If you are under 18 years old.
  • If you have heartburn or dyspepsia.
  • If you are taking other drugs.
Other information
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use after the expiry date which is stated on the package.
Store at room temperature below 25°C.

Other ingredients: Pregelatinized maize starch, Microcrystalline cellulose (Avicel PH 101), Microcrystalline cellulose (Avicel PH 102), Sodium starch glycolate, Polyvinyl alcohol, Titanium dioxide, glyceryl distearate, Magnesium stearate, Colloidal silicone dioxide, Polyethylene glycol, Talc.
