Apranax plus reduces pain and inflammation of muscles and joints and relieves pain from bone injures and surgical intervention. Apranax plus is an oil-free and sweet smelling gel and doesn’t leave any stain. It has a cooling feature for the skin part applied.
Product description
Apranax is a gel containing a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) naproxen, used to relieve severe pain from various conditions. Lidocaine has a numbing (anesthetic) effect. Apranax plus is used for the local treatment of diseases developed due to excess strain and erosion in the backbone and joints such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, diseases of the soft issue around the joint, traumas and musculoskeletal diseases associated with pain, inflammation and muscle strain.
 
Indications
Indicated is used for local treatment of:
  • Diseases developed due to excess strain and erosion in the backbone and joints (osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis).
  • Inflammatory diseases of the soft tissue around the joint ( periartritis, tendinitis, tenosynovitis, bursitis)
  • Soft tissues traumas such as contusion and distortion
  • Musculoskeletal diseases associated with pain , inflammation and mucle strain.
Instructions for use
Apranax gel is applied by rubbing on the painful area for 2-6 times a day.
 
Warning
DO NOT use Apranax plus gel if:
  • You are hypersensitive (allergic) to amide type analgesics.
  • The patient is younger than 2 years old.
DO NOT apply on the eye , mucosa and open wounds.
DO NOT continue using naproxen in case of exfoliation of the skin, mucosa descrution or hypersensitivity situations occurred on the skin.
DO NOT exceed 17-20 g Apranax plus dosage daily.
 
Precautions:
Before using Apranax, tell your doctor if you:
  • Have allergic reaction to any other medicines, foods, dyes, preservatives, or animals.
  • Have dementia risk.
  • Have cardiac insufficiency, cardiac function impairment, liver function impairment and hypertension.
  • Have a serious infection (sepsis) in which bacteria is present in the blood or if the mucosa at the area where the medicine is applied is seriously damaged.
  • Have acute disease or you are old.
  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Are taking antiarrhythmic drugs, other local anesthetics.
It is recommended to use small doses as much as possible.

Keep out of children's reach. Store at room temperature below 25°C by protecting from light.
 
Ingredients
Active substance: 1 g gel contains 100 mg naproxen and 50 mg lidocaine.
Excipients: Sodium metabisulfite, Ethanol ( 96 %), Carbopol 980, Triethanolamine, Xanthan gum, Velvet odor, Purified water.
