Canesten 3 is a vaginal cream used to treat a fungal infection in the intimate area of women and men. It relieves from irritation, redness and fights infections caused by fungis and other microorganisms.
Product description
Canesten containing Clotrimazole is an antimicrobial drug for gynecologic treatment. Clotrimazole acts against yeats and other microorganisms. It treats vaginal yeast infections and infections of vulva caused by Candida in women and balanitis in men.
 
Indications
Canesten Vaginal Cream is used for:
  • Treating fungal infection in the vagina and vulva area.
  • Treating infections of the genital area in men caused by fungis (Candida).
Instructions for use
Always read the leaflet or consult with your doctor or pharmacist before use.
  1. Wash your hands before using the cream.
  2. Squeeze the cream tube until the applicator is full.
  3. Insert the end of the applicator containing the cream into the vaginal in the lying position and push the plunger of the applicator with the forefinger until it stops.
Continue using the cream for 3 consecutive nights.
Warning
DO NOT use Canesten Cream if:
  • You are allergic to Clotrimazole or other components of the cream.
  • You have symptoms such as runny nose, fever, abdominal pain, back pain.
  • You have white vaginal secretions and vaginal bleeding.
  • You are in the first three months of pregnancy.
  • Your child is under 12 years old.
  • You are breastfeeding.
DO NOT swallow.
DO NOT use in contact with eyes.
 
Precautions:
Consult with your doctor or pharmacist before use if:
  • Your child is from 12 to 18 years of age.
  • You are taking other drugs.
This cream contains cetostearyl alcohol that can cause skin reactions of the gential area.
Canesten cream vaginal can reduce the efficasity of latex such as condoms when applied in the genital area.

Sorbitan monostearate, Polysorbate 60, Cetyl palmitate, Cetostearyl alcohol, octyldodecanol, benzyl alcohol, purified water
