CARDIOPIRIN 100 MG - 30 TABLETS

Cardiopirin tablets contain acetylsalicylic acid as active ingredient that in low doses prevents heart diseases and brain diseases caused by arterial thrombosis. Acetylsalicylic acid belongs to a group of medicines called anticoagulants, blood platelet aggregation inhibitor. It prevents blood clotting and treats thrombosis and ischemic strokes.It also treats unstable or stable angina. 

It is indicated:

Route of administration: Oral use 

The tablets should be swallowed whole with sufficient fluid (1/2 cup water) at least half an hour before a meal. The tablets have enteric-coating, which prevents irritation of the intestines and therefore should not be crushed, broken or chewed. 

The usual dosage is generally: one tablet a day. 

  

• If you are allergic of ingredients of this medicine.  
• If you have ulceration, problems with your stomach or intestines 
• If you have renal and hepatic impairment 
• If you have respiratory disorders and hypersensitivity reactions 
• If you have a pathological increased tendency to bleed. 
• If you have to take methotrexate concomitantly in dose of more than 15 mg per week 
• In the last three months of pregnancy. 
• Cardiopirin is not recommended for children and adolescents under the age of 18. 

• Your condition does not improve. 
• You have serious kidney, liver or gastro-intestinal problems. 
• You suffer from other chronic disorders and asthma, urticaria, nasal polyps and other allergies, glucose-6-phospate dehydrogenase deficiency. 
• Do not drink alcohol while taking Cardiopirin. 
• You are taking other drugs. 
• You are sensitive to other analgesics, anti-inflammatories, antirheumatic medicines or other allergenic susbtances. 
• You are already being treated with anticoagulant preparations such as coumarin or heparin derivatives excluding low-dose heparin. 
• You are about to undergo surgery, including minor surgery (such as dental extraction surgery) there may be an increase in the tendency to bleed. 
• For prolonged periods or at high dosages. 

Keep the medicine out of sight and reach of children. 

Do not store above 25°C.

Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton.

The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
