IMODIUM 2 MG - 20 CAPSULES
Imodium is a medication used to treat sudden diarrhea including traveler's diarrhea and long diarrhea. It slows down the movement of the gut and makes the stool less watery. It treats the symptoms of the diarrhea not the cause (infection). It is effective after 2 hours after taking the capsules.

Imodium contains 2 mg of Loperamide as it’s main ingredient. Loperamide is an anti-diarrhea drug that treats sudden diarrhea and chronic diarrhea not related to the cause. It slows down the movement of the gut and makes the stool less watery and reduces their frequency.

Always read the leaflet or consult with your doctor or pharmacist before use.
Acute diarrhea
Adults: It is recommended to take 2 capsules after each loose stool and continue with 1 capsule after each loose stool.
Children aged 6-12 years old: It is recommended to take 1 capsule after each stool.
The maximum daily dose is 8 capsules a day.

Each capsule contains 2 mg loperamide hydrochloride.
The capsule also contains: Lactose monohydrate, Maize starch, Talc and Magnesium stearate, Iron oxide yellow, Black ferrous oxide, Indigotindisulphonate sodium, Erythrosine sodium, Titanium dioxide and Gelatin.
