VACONTIL 2 MG - 40 TABLETS
Vacontil is used to treat sudden diarrhea including traveler's diarrhea. It slows down the movement of the bowels and makes the stool less watery. It treats the symptoms of the diarrhea not the cause (infection). It is used in adults and children above 8 years old.

Vacontil tablets contain Loperamide an antidiarrheal agent that reduces diarrhea by slowing down the activity of bowel. It helps the body to absorb more water and salts from the bowel. It treats sudden diarrhea and long lasting diarrhea.

Always read the leaflet or consult the doctor of pharmacist before use.
Adults: It is recommended to take 2 tablets straight away and continue with 1 tablet after each episode of diarrhea.
Children 9-12 years old: It is recommended to take 1 tablet 4 times a day until diarrhea is controlled.
This medicine can be taken for up to 5 days.
For long-lasting diarrhea it is recommended to consult the doctor.
