Diacol syrup is used for a treatment of dry and persistent cough. It soothes the cough caused by to irration of upper and lower respiratory airways. The syrup is recommended to be used for adults and children over 2 years old.

Product description	Diacol is antitussive syrup that contains dextromethorphan hydrobromide.. Dextromethorphan is as a cough reliever, for the temporary relief of cough caused by airways irritation (such flu and common cold), as well from inhaled particle irritants.
Instructions for use	Always read the leaflet or consult with your doctor or pharmacist before use. Unless your doctor or pharmacist instructs otherwise, always follow these instructions. It is recommended to take: Adults and adolescents – 5 to 10ml of syrup 4 times a day. Maximum daily dose is 60 ml Children 6 to 12 years old – maximum daily dose is 30 ml Children 2 to 6 years old – maximum daily dose is 15 ml Diacol may be administered every 4 hours, reducing the amount of syrup per intake.
Warning	DO NOT take Diacol if you: are pregnant or breastfeeding are allergic to any of ingredients have cough with sputum production are taking medicines belonging to the class MAO. Precaution: Consult the doctor or pharmacist if: you have bronchial asthma you have hepatic disease cough persists for over a week, repappers or is accompanied by fever, headache.
Other information	Keep out of reach and sight of children. Do not use this product after the expiry date which is stated on the carton.
