Flavamed is a syrup raspberry flavoured used for treatment of respiratory diseases associated with thick and excessive mucus. It also relieves wet cough. Flavamed is recommended to be used for children and adults.

Flavamed syrup contains ambroxol hydrochloride as its active ingredient. Ambroxol is a mucolytic agent that break down acid mycopolysaccharide fibers. The sputum is more thinner and less viscous and therefore more easily removed by coughing. It treats all form of tracheobronchitis, emphysema with bronchitis, chronic inflammatory pulmonary conditions, bronchitis with bronchospasm asthma. Recommended for use in children and adults.

| Instructions for use |
Always read the leaflet or consult with your doctor or pharmacist before use.
Recommended doses as following:
Adults and young people over 12 years old: 2 dosing spoons filled with 5 ml of solution for oral use 3 times a day.
Flavamed can be used in children under two years of age only with a doctor's instruction. It should not be used for more than 4 to 5 days without a doctor's advice.

Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool and dry place.
Do not use this product after the expiry date which is stated on the carton/package. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
