Algofren is a syrup with strawberry flavour for use in children from 3 months and onwards. It relieves from pain and reduce fever.

Product description	Algofren Syrup contains ibuprofen which is an anti-inflammatory drug used to relieve inflammation and reduce fever. It relieves headache, toothache, muscle and bone pain. Algofren Syrup is recommended to be used in children from 3 months old of age who weigh more than 5 kg. The syrup has a strawberries flavor.
Indications	Algofren syrup is used for: Inflammatory and joint disease. Treating arthritis. Relieving from mild to moderate pain such as headache, toothache and menstrual pain. Relieving from rheumatic conditions. Reduce fever.
Instructions for use	Always read the leaflet or consult with your doctor before use 5 ml contains 100 mg Ibuprofen. Dosage: Children and infants (over 3 months and weighing over 5 kg): For treating arthritis it is recommended to take 30-40 mg/kg/day divided to 3 or 4 doses. Maximum daily dose is 2.4 g in 3-4 divided doses. For treating pain and reducing fever: It it recommended to take 20 mg/kg/day in 3-4 divided doses. Maximum daily dose is 30 mg/kg/day. Adults and children over 12 years old, For treating pain and reducing fever: It is recommended to take 300-400 mg, 3-4 times a day. If the fever does not subside, the dose should be increased to 400 mg without exceeding 1.2 g per day.
Warning	DO NOT take/give Algofren syrup if: You or your chid have had or have peptic ulcer and other gastrointestinal disorders. You or your child have had gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation to previous NSAID treatment. You or your child are hypersensitive to aspirin or other NSAIDs drugs. You or your child have had or have ulcerative colitis, Chrohn disease. You or your child are allergic to ibuprofen or other ingredients of the syrup. You are pregnant or breastfeeding. You or your child are taking other pain killer drugs. You or your child have hematological condition Your child is younger than 3 months old and weighing less than 6 kg. You or child has severe heart problems. Precautions: Consult with your doctor or pharmacist before use: If you are elderly. If you or your child have hypertension and are taking diuretics. If you or your child have had peptic ulcer or other gastrointestinal disorders. If you or your child have serious kidney or liver problems. If you or your child suffer from a condition called systemic lupus erythematosus. If you or your child is taking other medicines.
Other information	Keep the medicine out of sight and reach of children! Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
Ingredients	Active ingredient: For 5 ml spoonful contains 100 mg Ibuprofen. Also contains: Xanthan Gum, Carboxymethyl Cellulose Sodium, Glycerol, Sorbitol, Sodium Benzoate, Aroma Strawberry, Citric Acid, Sodium Saccharin, Polysorbate 80, Cellulose Microcrystalline, Disodium EDTA, Water Purified.
