Civral cream is used to treat cold sores on the lips and faces and genital areas. Cold sores are caused by Herpes simplex virus infection. The cream does not prevent cold sores from coming back.

Specification

Product description	Civral cream contains Aciclovir that belongs to the group of medicines called "antivirals" which stop the spread of the virus in the body. It is indicated in treatment of Herpes Simplex skin infections such as primary or recurrent Herpes genitalis and Herpes Labialis. For topical use only.
Indications	Civral cream is indicated for: -Treatment of Herpes Simplex skin infections such as Herpes genitalis and Herpes labialis.
Instructions for use	Read the leaflet or consult with your doctor or pharmacist before use. Civral cream should be applied 5 times a day at intervals of approximately 4 hours. Civral cream should be applied to the lesions or areas where they are developing as early as possible after the infection begins. Treatment must continue for at least 5 days and up to a maximum of 10 if there is no healing.
Warning	DO NOT use Civral Cream : If you are sensitive or allergic to acyclovir,valaciclovir or to any of the excipients of Civral cream. On mucous membranes such as those of the mouth,eyes or vagina as it may be irritating. For a prolonged use more than recommended by your doctor. Precautions: Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this product if: You have a serious problem with the body’s immune system ( e.g AIDS or after bone marrow transplants). You are pregnant or breastfeeding. For topical use only.

Ingredients	Active ingredient: Acyclovir 5 g. Excipients: 407 polymer, cetostearyl alcohol, sodium laurilsulfate, white petroleum jelly, luqid paraffin, propylene glycol, Purified Aqua.
