Ponstan is an anti-inflammatory drug that relieves from pain and reduces fever. It is used in adults and children over 14 years old.

Ponstan contains Mefenamic acid, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug that has analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory properties. It relieves from pain of different kinds such as arthritis, muscle and joints pain, menstrual pain, migraine, toothache and post-operative pain. It also reduces fever and treats menorrhagia.

Adults and children over 14 years old: It is recommended to take 1 tablet, 3 times a day after meals.
For menstrual pain and menorrhagia the first dose should be taken at the beginning of signs.
